About SahrawiOud
SahrawiOud is a French online store, founded in 2026 and run by Ahmed Hommaid. We select oud wood, PDO Chios mastic (Masticha Chiou) and oriental perfumes, shipped from France within 24 hours (business days) to France, Europe and international destinations.
Our story: a bridge between East and West
“Sahrawi” means “of the desert” in Arabic; “Oud” is the precious wood at the heart of the Eastern fragrance tradition. SahrawiOud was born from a passion for this heritage and a simple idea: to let everyone, in Europe and beyond, find authentic oud and natural resins while knowing exactly what they are buying, where it comes from and how to use it.
What we offer
- Oud wood: a selection of natural and enhanced woods, each presented with its origin and grade (Kalimantan Malinau, Cambodia…).
- Chios mastic: mastic tears harvested in the villages of southern Chios, protected across the EU by the Masticha Chiou (PDO) designation, from 10 g to 500 g.
- Oriental perfumes: fragrances from well-known houses such as Lattafa and Reef Perfumes.
- Coming soon: oud oil (dehn al oud), frankincense (luban) and other rare resins, mukhallat blends, and traditional Moroccan and oriental clothing and heritage items. Our catalogue grows step by step, as each product meets our selection standards.

Is SahrawiOud's oud natural?
Products labelled “natural” are raw natural resin with nothing added. When a wood is enhanced, this is always written in its name and description.
What is the difference between natural and enhanced oud?
Natural oud is sold exactly as it was harvested, with nothing added. When a wood is enhanced, we say so clearly in its name and description, so you always know what you are buying.
Where does your Chios mastic come from?
From the villages of southern Chios, the Greek island where it is produced under the protected designation Masticha Chiou (PDO). The seal is printed on every box.
Do you ship outside France?
Yes.
